Can a teacher be fired for marrying a registered sex offender?

I am a registered sex offender living in South Carolina in love with an elementary teacher. Can she be fired or harrassed for marrying me?

am not sure about being fired but it could get very difficult forher to get a job. schools do background checks. you both need to really think and pray this through as she may need to consider a new occupation if she marry's you.

No they can't. The teacher didn't do anything wrong, and it was her choice to marry the pervert.

She can marry you, but you won't be able to pick her up at work. does she know you are a RSO?

She cannot be fired unless she lets you anywhere near the kids, then it is child endangerment.

But she can and probably will be harassed. Harassment is not legal but it happens and since it is not directed at her, but actually you, it would be hard to prove.
