Can a tank that was used to house a snake be used as a fish tank?

I was given a glass tank i think its 50 or 60 gallons that was used to house a king snake. Fish have never been put in it but i want to use it for my fancy goldfish because they have outgrown their 20 gallon tank. Is it safe? it doen't have any cracks in the glass. thanks
 
try filling it all the way up with water and leave it for a day or so, that way you can tell if it holds water, and even if it doesn't ur fish will be unharmed :) good luck!
 
reptile tanks are usually made with thinner glass, and sometimes the seal can't hold water. I'd suggest filling it with water in your backyard on a level surface. set it out for at least a day and make sure it doesn't leak.
