can a sudden DROP in blood presure cause bleeding from the ears?

I know its more logical for high blood pressure to cause bleeding, but BOB TURV, LA helicopter pilot and Camera man said such a thing at a traffic accident. I am writing a story and want this fact to be certified. So, is this true that a drop in blood ppressure causes ear bleed?
 
Don't know about that but,bleeding from the ears after a traffic accident is probably internal injuries.
