my 89 bronco now has a 302, and the transmission is shot, im looking in to replacing it. the motor is old but still runs well. so i was thinking or getting a upgraded performance transmission that could handle an eventual engine swap to a 351. but if a stock AOD can handle a stock 351 i won't bother with the expensive performance transmission.
