Can a Samsung Tocco Lite accept a 16GB microSD card?

As far as I can tell, from all of the Samsung literature, the S5230 Tocco Lite (formerly Samsung Star) can support an 8GB external microSD card. However, from searching on most mobile phone forums, people are suggesting that it works fine with a 16GB card. Does anyone have a Tocco Lite working with a 16GB card? And which brand of card are you using?
