Can a older LG Chocolate Phone Function with Verizon's newest features?

I bought a prepaid LG Chocolate Phone two years ago and only used it for a few months. Its still fairly new and functions well, however if I sign up with Verizon Wireless Prepaid Plan again, will I be able to access the same features I did before?
