Can a nonprofit corp be funded totally by the income of an unrelated business?

Can a nonprofit corp be funded totally by the income of an unrelated business if that business operates solely to fund the nonprofit corp? Will the business that funds the nonprofit corp have to pay taxes on the money they earn?
