depends if he/she is curious of everything!!!

or if he/she asks what it is then u tell him/her!

but its better if u explain him/her of what bad thing can happen! lol

or just take the shortcut and get the bottle away from her/him!

definitely not.keep the nine year old away from the beer bar table.he or she might want to know what it is and try it.

NO WAY keep her away from it! When she/he grows up he/she will want to try it or become an alcoholic! If u want to go to a bar get a babysitter!!!!!!!!!!!

It's probably best that they aren't. You never know what kind of people might be sitting there. I remember once when I was about 9 or 10 I was sitting kind of near the bar and I saw this guy staring at me. He stared at me for minutes and it creeped me out. He might have been drunk. So yeah, I'd say keep them away just because of my scary experience, although I don't know if stuff like that is common. :)

It all depends on your states laws some allow under the age of 21 in the bar and if you live in a place like Texas I believe, some places will even allow them to drink with their parents consent. Like I said It all depends really.

As for the should they. Well most people say if your parent drinks you will drink and I say Nay, my parents let me taste beer when I was younger and as most people first trying beer I did not like it and spit it out. I never tried it again and even now even though I do drink it is in moderation with self control. If you teach them at a young age what it is and why it is dangerous it can help them to not make the mistakes that so many teens make when they brake out into the party scene around high school.
