my friend blew the engine on his 08 mazda 3 and mazda will not cover it. they want $1600 for the repairs. i was thinking to try and help him out, to swap the engine ourselves. the engine itself costs around $900 for a used one. i have a friend whos a mechanic. is it possible? or is this something that is way over our heads?
