Can a mazda 3 1.6L engine support CNG?

The petrol prices are soaring high and hence leave me with no option but to convert my car to run on CNG. The conversion kit costs about $4200 but my concern is since it's running on gas will there be damage to the engine in the long run. Please share your experiences with me.

Mazda 3 1.6 will run on CNG and since a lot of cars are running on CNG in my country (without any problems) I feel there should be no adverse effects on your engine. Of my two cars, one runs on CNG and I have never experienced any problems at all.
