My ex decided this past April that he wanted to go inthe marines. Three and a. Half months after he left he texted me saying he was going to be home for the week. by this time he was out of boot camp and stationed. Three days later he said he was going back. He then texted me on august twenty nineth tellig me he was home for two weeks. The next day the thirtieth he tells me they got called on a mission or whatever. Every time he says he's leaving he tells me don't text his phone because it will be off and he won't get the text. Well I never texted once during these times when he said he was gone. Tonight was the first time I texted him on my own without him texting me first because I trusted him and didn't think that he would lie to me about something like that. The reason I texted him was to tell him happy birthday because today is his twenty first birthday. Well, come to find out his phone is in fact on as I speak and it recieved the text because my phone tells me that information. I haven't sent any other texts asking him why and how his phone is on if he can't have one because I want to know if this is in fat a rule or if he reAlly is allowed to have a phone and either lied to me about not being allowed to have one or lied to me about being in the marines at all so if anyone can tell me the rule with he whole cell phone things I'd really appreciate it. Some people say they can't some people say they can some people say theycan only use it on the weekends and I just wantto know if I'm honestly wasting my time with him and if I've wasted five years of my life waiting around for someone who doesn't give two shyts about me. We dated for four years befor this so I know him really well and unfortunately he is very capable of pulling somehing like this. Anyways thanks in advance!
