i had a motion to modify my child support and i wasnt getting anywhere with it... so i didn't show up to the last scheduled hearing, ( i had been in the court like 4 times and the judge kept continuing the case.) As far as i knew he was just going to pull it off calendar, but i just got a notice that he issued a bench warrant for failure to appear and pulled it off calendar at the same time.
can a judge issue a bench warrant when he's taken a case off the calendar?
