I currently have two tanks. One is a 10 gallon tank with just 1 Sunset fish, and a Plecostomus; the other is a 1.5 gallon tank with a fairly large Goldfish in it. I want to know if the Sunset fish will get along with the Goldfish if I were to put them into the same tank. I've tried to look it up but all answers say no, because Sunset fish apparently need warmer water. Mine is not in warmer water however. So other than temperature, is there any reason they cannot live together in the same tank? Also, do note that my Sunset fish is perfectly fine in the cold water. Had it for a year or so now and it seems happy.
Can a gold fish go in the same tank as a Sunset fish?
