I'm not trying to figure out how to get drugs or anything, I was just curious. They tell alcoholics that they cannot drink anymore, and should not even just have one drink... so if you had someone who was in huge amounts of pain and let's say painkillers were necessary, how would that work if the patient happened to be addicted at some point?
Can a doctor prescribe painkillers to someone who was previously addicted to them?
