Well then, the story is when i was driving home from my girlfriend's. i was exiting the 5 freeway and i made a turn on red light after i stopped before the ped. crossing lines. However, there is a sign that says "NO TURN ON RED ARROW"
the reason being no turn on red arrow is because there are cars making u-turns at the time.
however i am sure i turned on red "light" not arrow. after making my turn, a cop turn on his siren once ( the single one horn) with no lights. i was slowing down when he pulled next to me, i assumed he was pulling me over so i pulled into the next parking lot. after i parked he pulled right behind me and stayed in his car. while inside the car, he used his fingure to get out. when i did, he asked me what sign was posted before making that turn. i told him " no turn on red arrow" however the cop claimed that it posted no turn on red "light". he said he could have given me a big ticket but he then gave me a warning and then drove off.
Could he have given me a ticket even though i did not do anything wrong. i stopped before the pedestrians crossing lines, yielded to to cars driving on green (it was night, not many cars). and then proceeded with my turn.
so was he just being a true PIG or could he have given me a ticket for his bullshit. it pissed me off, because he had no reason to pull me over. and another question, if i get pulled over again for the same reason, what could i do to prevent the bullshitted ticket?
