We own (not rent!) a condo unit in a complex. We have three people in the household, and two parking spots assigned to us, which we used to use for our three cars. Recently, we bought a third car for me (I am a college student and need my own vehicle). The car is properly licensed and registered, etc., and I've been parking in in one of the many 'free' spots of the condo complex. Recently, the association has been sending us notices that we are not allowed to 'store' a third car in communal parking. This car is not being stored, it is used a few times a week. Is the association legally allowed to impose this kind of restriction on our personal property, or are they out of line?
