My television is awaiting repair and I have a second computer monitor. I was just wondering if it is possible to use an HDMI to DVI adaptor to make a computer monitor a temporary television. I have surround sound so I don't need the sound component. Has anyone tried this before with any success? My monitor is a samsung led backlit monitor with 1080p hd capabilities.
