can a cartunning turbo kit for a chevy 3.8L fit a chevy 3.4L?

have a chevy impala with a 3.4L v6 and i wanting to put a turbo kit from a 3.8L chevy impala on it will it just bolt on i think the motors are similar enough that they will enter change?
 
I dont know much about turbo systems but I can tell you that the 3.4 liter V6 and the 3.8 liter v6 are two entirely different engines. The 3.4 liter is based off the 2.8 liter and the 3.1 liter smaller block 60 degree V6 design. It was first put into cars in the early 80's (Chevy Citation, celebrity, pontiac 6000 etc...). The 3.8 231 90 degree V6 however, is derived fron the small block chevy V8 engines and it pretty much just a 305 V8 with 2 cylinders missing. These two motors have very little in common if anything at all. I dont know how turbos work, but as far as the two engines in question go they are two very different animals.
