Can a car fuse change cause a engine light to come on?

I have just changed my cd player in my car and I blew a 5amp fuse. I put a 10 amp fuse instead.

Now around 15 minuets after that my engine light lit up on my dashboard and it won't go off. Could this be down to the fuse?
