to leave a bag with them? If so, do I have any rights when something is inevitably stolen? I say inevitably because the natives in my town like to reinforce cultural stereotypes; theft/assault is common and the police don't care (they like their stereotypes too I guess). I know stores like Costco can have you do whatever they like, you sign a contract with them, but I am talking average stores.
Links would be appreciated, I would love to read up on these laws myself, but I can't seem to find them.
Thanks!
I read that in the states your bag can not be searched by a store, I would like to know if that applies to Canada as well. I am having difficulty finding official information so I hoped I could find it here. To be frank, tb, your opinion and flawed logic is not what I came here for and I do not care much for it. I respect authority where it is to be respected, and if the law says they can do it, that's fine.
