...isn't he wasn't present is it legal? Can a business refund my husband the money I paid for a service, my name is on the receipt and I am the one that handled everything. He was not even present at the time of paying and receiving a receipt. But now there is legal action being taken against her she has to refund people their money back. She emails my husband saying she will refund the money to him in a form of a cashiers check made out to him. How is that legal? She said she can b/c he is my husband?! but it would be like him making a car purchase and something coming up in result getting a refund but my name is not on anything only his and they decide to refund me the money and not him b/c i'm his wife?
She got his email, b/c he emailed her from his work his active military. and it is our money but I clean houses and the money I made from cleaning i went and paid for pictures that we never got, but my point is no one ever know regardless if it is "our" money or not if husband and wife are having problems or not. Which we are not but wouldn't the professional way be for her to refund it back to me not her choose who she refunds it to?
