Can a 5 year old sit in the front passenger side of the car with airbags?

He will be in a car seat, just we have a long car journey to do, and will be easier if he in the front, rather than him shouting on my attention from the back seat.

My airbags dont switch off, and its just one on the dash board, no sides ones
