If I was to take of the transfer case would it cause anymore damage to my jeep? Can it still run normally? Does it need lube or something? I ran into a problem today where it sounded like there was something (where I do not know) .. something stuck like it was getting crushed.. breaking.. it would like suddenly get stuck and then make the sound again. It made it when I was slowing down. Once I got back on the highway it just basically went back to its normal "noise" I guess you can say.. and didnt make that sound anymore or didnt have to force itself I guess you can say. Have any of you had experience with the problem? Or anyone that might know what I am talking about? =/ Any ideas on what I can do so that won't happen again?
