Can a 350 engine and transmission out of a '78 Camaro be put into a '72 Dodge Charger?

I have '78 Camaro with good 350 engine and good TH350 transmission, but the body is bad and I have a '72 Dodge Charger with no engine or transmission, but the body is in decent condition. I am just wondering if the motor and transmission can be dropped in the Charger.
