Can a 2006 Honda Civic LX Sedan play mp3 format CDs(stock audio system)?

I was wondering if I should format my CD's for normal audio,or if the car's stock cd-player can play mp3 formatted CDs
If you don't know then can you at least tell me where to look like inside the car or the manual to see?
