Can a 2006 and up Chevy Cobalt swap a 350 engine?

I have bought a 2006 chevy cobalt lt and was wondering if it would be difficult to swap with a 350 and how expensive that would be after buying the engine
 
it could be done but for the cost of doing it you could buy 2 new cars that came with 350's
 
It would cost a ton to convert your FWD 4 cylinder car to a RWD V8. You would basically need to custom build a car that fits into the Cobalt body.
 
I don't think it would fit in their compartments. With the 2.2 it is pretty tight in there.
If you want to get some speed out of your car go other options such as computer chips etc....if you change to that engine you are going to have to modify to many things to get it functional.
