Can 17" rims & tyres fit on my 2008 Tata Indica LSi ?

I have a 2008 Tata Indica LSi (Blue) and I would like to put a set of 17" mags & tyres. will it fit without hassle? I understand a lot of power will be lost, but thats ok. as long as it fits easy.
