do they denature . . .? stains as they do? E.g., how in the world does the tide stick make a stain lose its color without washing away the remnants of the chemicals that one composed the stain. And what, chemically provides dyes of clothing, carpet, countertops, etc. with resistance to the denaturing effects of such cleaners? It knowhow traditional hand washing soaps work with their hydrophillic and hydrophobic portions. I am really trying to get to the bottom of the effects of cleaners such as bleach and stain removers.
