I live in Georgia and next month me and my boyfriend & Our precious son decided we would go camping for 3 days. I was just wondering what tips mommies had and when was the first time you took your little one camping? Thanks everyone!
Okay I don't think my son is to young to go camping for a few days so I don't even want to hear that crap I am his parent and I think he would be fine!
All I wanted was suggestions and Tips not people to tell me if I can take him.

bring sunblock extra wipes extra clothes and bug spray they have the wipes now so there is no risk of spraying in his face and when your setting up chairs and what not a citrona candle for extra protection.Hang all food from a tree at least in my state to protect from bears or keep it in your car at night bring extra water of course.Good luck and have fun I hope he loves his first camping trip.

7 months is going to make camping kind of hard. If the baby is crawling you may want to bring a pack and play or one of those baby fences so that he doesn't eat all the dirt and you don't have to follow him every two seconds....I would also suggest putting a gate around the fire, just in case. I know you think, he won't get that close, but you know how fast kids can be when you turn your back for a second!

Make sure you bring lots of extra wipes because camping can get really dirty. Also a lot of changes of clothes, more then you would normally need. You may want to invest in a hiking babypack for him if you don't have one already, it's hard to navigate the woods with an infant in your arms.

Good luck!

A little young to be going camping. The baby's immune system may not be able to handle it. Not a good idea at all.

You will need a u-haul trailer to take everything for the baby. Make a list and check it twice. Have a hoodie to cover his ears when he's out in the night air. Plenty of diapers, baby lotion and his bathtub. Where will he be sleeping? Blankets, bottles or formula depends on whether you are nursing him or not. Are you planning to take a high chair, he will need to be seated because you cannot constantly hold him. You will be the cook and the dishwasher.
Do you plan on doing any fishing? Do you know how to clean and gut the fish? Coffee maker, coffee, skillet, olive oil, plates and cups knives and forks.
Wish I could go..have fun.
