Camping while having your period.?

I'm going on a class camping trip for a week, and of course I'm going to have my period!! ugh. I usually leak a little sometimes, and was wondering if anyone had tips on dealing with my period while camping. thanks!

first of all bring plenty of pads and or tampons... i would say both since u say u leak alittle.... also brnig a jacket so in case u leak alittle it wont be noticeable. also I would say bring some tylenol in case for cramps

Definetely take tampons as well as pads; that way you won't have to think about leaking while you're having fun. Plus if you're camping anywhere near water, you might end up swimming/falling in so best be prepared for that.
Will there be any proper toilets around? If there are they'll make your life changing pads etc much easier, as well as getting rid of them (don't flush them, of course )
