I live in Long Island, New York. My friends and I are looking to go camping in the local area. By local, I mean we are willing to drive around 3 hours to anywhere. We are looking for somewhere with a river where we can kayak, and of course a great forest scenery. We would also like it to be a somewhat cheap venture. Does anyone have any good state parks or places they would recommend?
