camping on san diego beaches?

I am looking for a nice spot to camp for a night or two on or near the beach in san diego or surrounding cities. want to get to the beach for a day or two on the weekday, maybe wed thurs. want to get some info for the best campsite, preferably one with shower and restroom, within walking distance to the beach or on the beach. shade would be nice, and a fire pit. either in san diego or places like san clemente, oceanside, anywhere on the beach really
