Camping in Texas beside the river?

I want to go camping March 16-20th for spring break with KIDS so if you no of any FAMILY oriented places in texas alog the river where they can get their feet wet please let me no!
New Braunsfels is not for KIDS or Family camping you can get jello shots for showing your tatas there! I need FAMILY PLACES!
 
What part of Texas?
In New braunsfels their are places, but I'm not sure if their open this time of year.
