Don't use soaps in a body of water anywhere. Get a bucket of water away from the source and wash your hair from there. Soaps pollute the water and nobody wants to see suds floating around or down stream. People may need to use that water for drinking and we need to be kind to those around us and mother nature.
 
You need to wash your crotch also or you will get crotch rot. This is when you chafe and itch and bad things happen. This is because of bacteria in lakes.
 
Camping in tell monday. No shower. I am going swimming in a lake. How do I keep my hair from get disgusting. I bout baby face wipes so That's covered. But I want to stay clean. What do I do for my hair?
