Some of us are taking a trip up the outer banks from ocracoke on bikes, and we're hoping to go as far north as the VA border. i know the last 15 or so miles are unpaved. Then we were going to campout, turn around, and come back the following day. YES I AM AWARE OF THE MILEAGE, THANK YOU. Where can you camp NORTH of Corolla? Can you just pitch on the beach there? It seems fairly primitve and there is few restrictions on vehicle access, so who's to stop me from throwing up a tiny shelter and sleeping under it?
