I'll be going to Kitty hawk soon and the campground that I am going to has 3-4 peacocks. Many have said that they wonder in the campground and attack the tents. I was wondering is it against the law to kill a peacock if you catch it ripping your tent up? Or will I get arrested for killing a (protected) peacock? I have no idea and can't find the laws. for it.
