I've been on the fast track in my reserve unit since I enlisted as an E-1. Apparently I'm a high speed individual and with such have been promoted within the minimum time for each rank accordingly. I just reached my E-4 two months ago and my unit E-8 has already signed me up to go to WLC at Camp Williams, Utah. He already knows that I'm planning on contracting ROTC, but insists that I go to WLC for the leadership experience. In his words, he wants me to learn "the best two worlds".
My question is this. What is WLC like, how is it at Camp Williams, and what should I expect? I'm feeling a little butterflyish.
