Camp Pendleton Colleges help?

I just got maried to my boyfriend of 4 years , he's a Marine and stationed in Camp Pendletion CA. I live in NYC and by the end of the Spring 2010 I will have 100.5 credits. I was thinking about taking a sem off to move to Cali so I can spend time with my husband before he deploys again in Nov. I really want to spend time with hime before he leaves again. He just came back from Iraq and before he left we only ha d afew weeks together. What should I do? Should I apply to classes there in Cali? or wait to come back to NYC and finish here after he leaves? Are there any online Cali classes or anything? Can someone help me.

well there are some great schools in southern california. the two main universities that stand out to me are UCLA and USC. those are both great schools and within range of camp pendleton. less than an hour's drive away. if you want you can usually take classes at these schools even if you are not a student. you can do the UCLA or USC extension program which gives classes to people in the community who are not full-time students. if you are in the middle of college, what you should do is instead of pausing your education, you should apply for a transfer to UCLA, USC or any other southern california school. don't leave school because i guarantee once you leave it will be hard to come back. it's good that you love your husband but don't throw your education away. like i said, check out UCLA, USC or other southern california schools and try to get a transfer. if a full time student career isn't your preference, try the extension programs for non-students who want to take classes
