Camp Nowhere: It was the summer they were free to be whoever they wanted to be.

I know!! They look so babyish. It's amazing. Haha.

We had the same thought! I checked if the DVD was available and it is. I checked Amazon. I think I still have the VHS somewhere around but I really doubt it works.

It was my childhood too, so I was definitely feelin' it!

I agree...are there even any actual kids anymore; what with kids getting cell phones and blackberrys at like seven or so.

I know, me too! I wish my friends and I made our very own camp when we were kids.

 I don't remember these moments. Much rewatch the movie soon!

I have been putting off watching this again because it means so much to me. It was one my childhood/early teens movies and I'm afraid to watch it now... Like, I'd be admitting that I'm not 14 anymore. Oh boy.

Waah childhood memories coming back! I remember watching this with my sister and we both fell in love with Jonathan Jackson. This movie makes me want to go to an outrageous camp like that. :) I want to watch it again...

I loved this movie when I was younger. It looked like everyone was having so much fun. one of my favorite lines was when the girl was watching 90210 and trying to make sure the tv worked. She says she can't miss Dylan

I still remember the song "I live by the rules"

I feel like I watched it again not so long ago on TV and remember thinking 'omigosh they are SO young!'

Is the movie available on DVD? We used to have it on VHS ages ago but no longer do.

I'm so happy I got to be a kid/teen during the era of movies like this. Camp Nowhere is a serious classic! :D

Kids these days don't even KNOW. The emphasis on adventures and friendship was really key in making the movies funny and even beautiful in capturing those feelings of growing up, wanting to be your own person, falling in love, being a good friend, etc.

So much love for this.

Man. Every time summer vacation arrives I think of this movie. I think I'm going to be 80 and still long to go to camp with the kids in this movie.

When I was a kid I always thought that someday I would be on a camp like this. It just looked like so much fun!

Movies and tv shows often try to show people having the time of their lives but they fail miserably.

Camp Nowhere was very good at it. They let kids act like kids and it was awesome. Still now I'm 24 and I love every second of this. It's a great time and I feel like I've been to camp when it's over. :D

I used to have the biggest crush on the little rocker always with the guitar. Oh my...

I loved everything they hooked up their camp with; talk about awesomeness!

I know! The 90's was such a great era for kid movies. I guess I'm bias because that's my childhood right there, but there's something obnoxious about today's kid movies. I can watch 90's kid movies now and still enjoy them as an adult without feeling annoyed by the kids but if I see a movie meant for kids today it makes me feel irritated.

I never got to go away to summer camp, but if it was anything like this, I know I would have enjoyed it.

Exactly, that's the point! They're not kids really. It's like now everyones a young adult once they hit 12, they're not allowed to be kids and that's sad.

Camp Nowhere is a perfect example of kids just being kids, and it was awesome, and funny and yeah pretty wholesome but that's a good thing. It was cute and it had a little romance but it was still about kids having fun playing, singing, jumping around, etc.

I miss the 90s, especially when it comes to movies like this one! :bawl:

I would've loved to have been part of a camp like the one they created!

Or just what it's like to really be a kid. It's pretty sad if you think about it.

I loved this movie so much! I loved Johnathan Jackson when I was younger, I guess I still do, and I had a huge crush on Andrew Keegan too. I so wanted to go to a Camp Nowhere, it would be the best fun ever
