Hello. My husband is a SFC with the Army. He was just put on orders to Camp Humphrey for August of this year. Usually I would stay at home for the year. But we were told that there is family housing on post now if you stay for 3 years. Has anyone else heard of this?
If so, is command sponsorship just for Officers and E-8/E-9 or do you think it would be approved for an E-7?
Lastly, has anyone been there? If so any advice on whether or not we should go if possible would be appreciated. We have 2 children and I am a bit nervous. But he has been deplyed 3 out of the past 5 years and I just want my kids to be with their dad if possible. Thanks in advance!
