Camera settings Canon D40?

I'll be attending the space shuttle launch scheduled for lift off 04/05/10 at 6:27 am eastern time. Should be around daybreak Florida time. What camera settings should I consider with my Canon D40. ISO, shutter speed and aperature settings. Should I use AV, TV or auto. I'll probably be using a 70-200 standard zoom which I believe is a 5.6f. Thanks
