is better? i'm a student. the camera will be used in ordinary way, taking pictures and recording. well, that will be better that the camera has the M mode. help please.....thanx

I wouldn't buy a camera with no viewfinder especially a super zoom model. In the Panasonic family I'd be looking at the Panasonic DMC-FZ35. Check Website dpreview.com, go to the left at camera database.
On the cheap there's always Fuji S1500, about $200- in stores.
