Camera bug in latest ME firmware

Hi,

I've been trying to use my camera for the past 2 days and I've come to a conclusion that the latest ME firmware v 3.0705.1.0.31 26-01-2007 has a bug with camera.

When i'm in camera mode, the phone always switches itself back and fort between camera mode and main screen. Sometimes it will even exit out of camera mode itself. It's very annoying.

Anyone experienced this?
 
have you changed the housing or opened the phone up at all? i've read that this exact thing can happen if you open up the housing and don't ensure that the back housing is secure when you put things back together
 
nope i haven't changed the housing but i have opened up the phone before. It never happened with IE firmware. The phone was opened up a while back so I don't see why the camera would be effected by it now.
 
1. Take out your battery ....

2. Take out your MMC ....

3. Put in your battery

4. Start the Phone

5. Put back your MMC

6. Shut off 3D ringtones

how are u ppl havin the latest Me firmware. everytime i connect my phone it says i have the latest version. i want to have the latest 2007 firmware what to do about the same. please advise im new to this phone...
