actually to give you the complete information on the Z28

yes they did cancel the decision for a z28.. they confirmed during this past SEMA show they they were going to bring a Z28 out so for about 6 months the z28 was cancelled.. it is coming out around august of 2010 as a 2011 model.. it will have the 6.2l supercharged (tvs 1.9l) LSA motor 550hp..
 
I know GM cancelled Camaro Z28 because of the economic crises and ... but now I heard they changed their mind and they are going to make it, and it's coming out in 2011, is that true?
 
They never cancelled the Z28, they just never brought it back. It's currently on hiatus, and while GM has not stated anything specifically regarding the return of the Z28, there's a lot of speculation that it'll come out in late 2010 as a 2011 model, or in early 2012 with a 551hp LSA engine.
Last I heard, GM was working out the drivetrain issues they were having.
