I'm prone to shin splints, so I always stretch the hell out of my calves before I go for a jog/run. Lately, though, the front bottom half of my calves have been burning like crazy after about 1/3 of a mile. Someone told me that leg warmers might help, but they actually made it a LOT worse. I tried icing them at night, but nothing seems to have changed. And what's even stranger to me is that when I sprint, my legs don't hurt at all. It only happens when I jog at a slow 10ish minute mile page.
