Hi,
I'm 18 years old, 5'4, and 140 pounds. Last month I was prescribed adderall to help me through the rest of my senior year. I am literary NEVER hungry, just the thought of food makes me not feel good. I still try to eat throughout the day, like a smoothie, salad, or fruit. I'm probably eating about 400-600 calories a day. Also, for about the past month and a half I've been exercising 5 times a week for 30-60 minutes. I usually jog on my treadmill, lift little weights for my arms, do curls/situps, and do stretches. I just wanted to loose a good 20-25 pounds before summer came around. I've been trying to read up to see if my low calorie intake and exercise is okay for me, and most things say my body will go into starvation mode and I'll actually gain weight because your metabolism goes so slow. I haven't weighed myself since my last doctors appointment on April 10th, but I look like I've lost at least 8-10 pounds.
Is this totally unhealthy? Because I don't want to end up gaining weight!
And most of the other things I read also say because of not eating enough I'll end up not wanting to work out and I'll be really tired and feel sick. I've been doing this for a month and I don't have any signs of that, I'm just getting light black circles under my eyes, could that be from what I'm doing??
Just any advice on this would be great! Thanks.
