Where are you????

I want to pick your brain about the T5 and backup options.

TealBack gets errors when I use it and have to exclude some files....the Backup plus works only half-asred....:mad:

Well, this is just terrific. Carol's in trouble, Palm's going to hell . . . .

and now Moose is the "where's waldo" of the Palm Support Society.

My abscense will continue for sometime due to changes at work that is causing me to pick up additional responsibilities and travel.
I won't go into the details but I can tell you that this week alone my free time to play on the net has been limited to airports while waiting between flights and not on the cell phone.

I don't use Tealpoint back up on either the T5 or the Treo 650.

The last backup program I used was on a M500 series device.

Most of my backup comes via the laptop and a ghosted drive that's pretty up to date most of the time so a little data loss would be all that I've seen in over 5 years.

Backup is not a high priority for me.

I did use BlueNomad's backup buddy as the last program and found it very good....but that was some time ago.

If your using TealBackup - which is a good program just because it's from Tealpoint - I'd suggest contacting them with any error messages.

Otherwise, I'd be glad to respond but at the moment I'm half way to dwinget.....and he also should know that I've posted over at Iambic of not being available much because of work.

PM is the best way to alert me....I don't subscribe to any threads because of overwhelm.

I have just tried Innerback up again with a new download and I got an error message. :confused:
I will do it again and advise on the error message I received....

Has anyone tried FlyBackUp?

I can't test it myself since I don't own a T5 but it may work. I haven't had any problems with it on my T|E, and I recommend this app.
 
Haaaaaaa, the SoS returns. Hi to all particularly but not exclusively PTL, Moose'ster, iiiC, Dwinget etc. Sorry no real presence here for a while. The reason is...wait for it...I bought a LifeDrive...[SoS pauses to wait for gasps of bemusement/general laughter etc...sorry Nine]. TT still going strong though so dont worry...

so, Paul, where did you hear that it works on the LD (man, backup software on this machine is 'interesting'...
