gkast1, in Los Angeles, 7105t.    I picked it up for a song from a closing-down Comp USA store... opting for T-Mobile because my laptop PCMCIA GC79 card from them had performed fine.  The latter I had chosen because I was happy with my T-Mobile cellphone... which hadn't been my decision, I simply fell into their lap  when they acquired Voicestream [HI JILL!].  That had been my first cellphone, in Seattle. [TMo still honors my Voicestream voice plan... which raises eyebrows every time a TMo rep looks at my account!]  Pros:  TMo prices are reasonable  The device is sturdy...it has taken bumps, drops and spills and still works fine.  CAVEAT, one of my keys just stopped working today...but that's another thread  I am able to use the 7105t as a tethered modem for my laptop (figured out how), so I no longer need the GC79 card.   Cons:  TMo Support's voice-recognition front end is terrible, as far as I am concerned.   But the live Support is OK, and when some matter is beyond them they do forward me to RIM Support, which is exemplary!  I resent not being able to access the T-Mobile website from the Berry.  Coverage leaves something to be desired, especially in non-metropolitan areas.  While in a National Park I was miffed to see both my Berry and my cellphone without signal, while people next to me were chatting away on theirs.  Originally I had second thoughts about the trackwheel.  Now, however, I know it, no more slips... and I do NOT want to upgrade to a trackball Berry!
