Calling all T-Mobile customers

N8, Nashville....Previously 7105 and now the 8700....

Reason I chose T-Mobile:

A: Reasonable pricing for not only voice plans but also the BIS plan.

B: I have a contact at a local T-Mobile Kiosk that was able to get me a sweet deal on the 7105 initially...

C: TMobile and Cingular are the only 2 carriers here that had the 8700, and to me Cingular is a little too pricey, so I stayed with T-Mobile.

As far as customer service with T-Mobile goes, I would say its on the upper end...Not great by any means, but with these devices, they do seem a little more complicated to troubleshoot for Customer Sevice Reps than regular phones (But thats what rabroad is for right?). Service is okay...Obviously they don't have the greatest network, but it is acceptable.

As far as if whether or not I will stay with TMobile...That all depends...In all honesty I have no corporate loyalty what so ever. If Cingular ever came out with better plans, I would probably switch to them (especially now that you can port numbers).

Will I stay with Blackberry? As long as that new one gets done quickly! Hahaha...I would get a 2nd Blackberry as a "personal one" and probably keep the 8700 for business only...For the future I see myself sticking with Blackberry for the security and stability and the Push Email...Don't see that changing any time soon.

I am in Rockledge, Fl (not far from Kennedy Space Center) and I have an 8700g, gave my old 7100t to my hubby, so we now both have BBs.

I started with Tmo because they had the SK.

I upgraded to the BB and have the cheapest monthly bill, good service. Nothing to complain about.

I hope Tmo gets the upcoming new consumer BB... otherwise I might have to get an unlocked one

I was using a 7290 but got a 7105t because the screen is so much better. The company I work for do not allow people to get a 8700 unless you are in the executive committee. I work in the NYC area.

I have been a TMO customer for about 5 years and I have had pretty good service compared to previous service providers, AT&T and MCI.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~My name is John and I have the 8700g with unlimited everything except voice. I do not use it anyway.

Before that was the 7290.

I chose Tmobile for one reason, PRICE! They have great rate plans and decent customer care, as long as your not calling about the Blackberry.

7290 data only plan I use alot for personal but also business, but not BES. I thought it was the best plan for the money in this area

My name is Todd and I'm a Crackberry addict. No wait, wrong meeting.
I live near Ann Arbor, MI.
I currently have the 8700g, and made the switch to TMO upon its arrival, from Nextel. I love it!

I have using my BB shortly after choosing tmo a 1 1/2yrs ago. I stay with them because of the price and I am here because of their lack of support. Also to meet some interesting and knowledgable people.

Cleveland, Ohio

T-Mobile has the killer plans...I have 3500 minutes a month unlimited text & picture online access and a BB 7100t. Which basically puts no limits on anything..I never hit 3500 minutes and my plan doesn't come close to Verizon or Sprints unlimted packages (It's total is under $100 a month).

I want to stay with BB but I also have several Ipaqs and like the Win platform as well. If I can get a deal on an 8700 I'll be staying with BB. It's nice to be a part of a niche club like this.

T-mobile support has been A1 for me so far. I've been with BB & Tmo for almost 2 years.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~i have a 7230 got it cheap on ebay to see if I'd like it now I can't wait to get the 8700 which I should have gottend in the first place. Why I'm with tmo? After having tmo then sprint then vzw and nextel I realized my mistake.

Firstly, this is a fantastic forum.
- 8700g, recently switched over from the painful (as a cell-phone) MDA.
- With TMO for two main reasons since Oct '03- great plans and very
good customer service.
- Needed BB to access company and personal email.
- 8700g is the best BB I've seen till date.

Chanced on this thread when looking for an app. to wipe my 8700g clean.
 Just tried upgrading OS to Vodafone 4.1.0.394 per N8DBB's posting
and am stuck with a JVM 523 RESET error after the upgrade.
Shall post on that thread to see if a solution is available.

Hello All! My name is Brenda, I have the 7105t, I'm located in Portage, IN and I'm with T-mobile cause I love their service and their plan rates! Been with TMO 4 years and don't see leaving them anytime soon!

Greetings! I'm Willie....(yes my real name I'm a country F)...I have my 2nd 7105t...had 3 7100's.. I reside in Waldorf, Md...I have been with TMO for 4 years, thinking about switching, the coverage isnt its best, I work in DC...the metro system does not accommodate TMO...rather TMO will not accommodate the metro system..and other rural places where I reside...

Can you hear me now ?? NOPE ? There is nothing no more embarrasing when my calls cease, lack of signal.... and your neighbors are still chatting away, even if it is on ghetto Sprint ! LOL !!
