Hello all, thanks in advance. Working on a 96 Lincoln Mark VIII, pulled code P1537. Removed intake from engine, found that passenger side actuator does not hold vacuum. I applied vacuum to the driver side actuator, holds vacuum and operates runner valves properly. Again, passenger side actuator does not hold any vacuum, runner valves always stay open. A new actuator is completely obsolete, cannot get one through the dealer. Called 15-20 junkyards around town, can't find one. Cannot find one in the aftermarket. So, now for my questions: Anybody know an aftermarket company that makes these? Anyone have or know someone who has one of these for sale? Anyone know of a place that repairs/rebuilds vacuum actuators? I have also come across a lot of forums that talk about replacing a bushing/clip that goes between the actuator and the intake-could this cause the actuator to not hold vacuum? Thanks again
